was a welcome break from all the hustle and bustle outside (very chill and immaculately clean). We arrived on a Saturday and were greeted by an incredibly friendly staff in the terraced seating area which in itself. MoreĪfter a long hard week of eating pasta and pizza me and a few friends craved something a little different, Floret did not disappoint. Over $50 for that was entirely not worth it. We paid €48 for the salad and toast, one kombucha and 2 ginger shots. It did not taste fresh or recently made - it felt like bagged lettuce that had been stuffed in the back of a refrigerator for too long. The lettuce was all brown and it was literally composed of brown lettuce, some watermelon pieces and a few chunks of feta. Needless to say, the avocado toast with poached egg was cold and the salad was terrible. We were told again “there’s a problem with the kitchen it will be out in a minute.” Right as we were about to leave (after waiting an hour for a piece of toast and a cold salad), she brought our food. A couple next to us who arrived a half hour after we did got their meal which was also a piece of toast and a salad. After 25 minutes we asked the waitress if our food would be out soon (there was maybe one other table in at that time) and she said “there’s a problem with the kitchen please wait a few more minutes.” We waited 45 minutes before telling her we were going to pay for our drinks and leave. We ordered one piece of avocado toast and one watermelon feta salad. the food and the service we received however was unforgivable. The inside is indeed gorgeous, calm, cool to look at, funky etc. Needless to say we couldn’t wait to come here and as soon as we went to Florence we found it. knew we’d be wanting something healthy and clean by that time. We were to visit Florence in the second week of a three week trip and. So my girlfriend and I discovered Bar Floret on Instagram in 2017 and have been excitedly following them for over a year in preparation for our upcoming trip to Italy.
